Angela Maria Young, of Red Hook, NY passed away at The Thompson House in Rhinebeck, NY on August 1, 2018.
Born in Millbrook, NY on September 24, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Immacolata (D'Auria) De Santis. On September 11, 1954, she married Henry W. Young in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Millbrook, NY. Henry predeceased her on May 26, 2013.
An area resident for many years, Angela was employed at IBM in Kingston for over 20 years.
Angela is survived by her two daughters, Maureen Johnson of Red Hook, NY and Lisa Young of Southampton, NY; her two brothers, Dominic De Santis of Millbrook, NY and Alexander De Santis of Bethlehem, PA; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; along with her extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband, her siblings, Mary Erts, Theresa Feore, Carmen "Joseph" Marrone, Mary Manzi Louis Merrone and Charles Marrone, predecease Angela.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM on Monday, August 6, 2018 at St. Christopher's Catholic Church in Red Hook, NY. Burial will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made in Angela's memory to her favorite charity, St. Jude's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis Tennessee 38101.
