Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM.
A funeral home service will take place at 6:00 PM.
Donald Quentin Scism Sr., 72, of Sunset Drive Port Ewen died Thursday August 16, 2018 at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus. Born July 23, 1946 in Kingston New York he is the son of the late James and Dorothy (Peck) Scism.
Donald worked for Central Hudson Gas and Electric for thirty-five years, while employed by Central Hudson he worked through the ranks from lineman, power plant worker, transportation foreman, to safety coordinator. He was a passionate golfer and worked as a starter at Green Acres Golf Course. Donald was active in Moose Lodge where he was a President to the N.Y State Moose Association. He was an avid bowler, a member of the Kingston Bowling Association, a member of the Moose Mix League and also Manny's Barber Shop League, he also enjoyed playing horseshoes and raising hell.

hildren Robert Warncke (Amanda) and Tara Warncke; grandchildren Robert Williams, Tyler and Jordyn Scism, Cashara and Cavadeas Taylor, Annaca and Kylie Warncke; great grandchildren Vincent Walker III, and Sari'yanah and Savion Knox; his siblings James H. Scism and his wife Norma, Carolyn Roberti, Mildred Scism and many nieces and nephew also survive.
He is predeceased by his daughter Debbie Scism.
