player, was on one of the opposing teams. Vic and Trudy were married at St. Mel's Catholic Church in Flushing, NY, on May 21, 1949. After owning their own home in Flushing for just one year, Trudy and Vic moved the family of four to Indianapolis in 1956 when Vic was transferred within the Hanover Insurance Company as a field representative. Vic and Trudy had five children starting with Claudia (1953) and Victor (1954) born in New York. After moving to Indianapolis, Steven (1960) and Jeffrey (1961) were born and their youngest child, Jennifer (1965), was born in Park Forest, Illinois. Vic and Trudy were very active in their children's lives, making sure they received good educations, got to church, played whatever sports interested them, and leading fun vacations in their Volkswagen bus. Over the years, Trudy ran her own typing business, staying up until all hours of the night to greet her teenagers as they arrived home. For some time she typed and mimeographed the SJA Parish Voice and took care of the 50/50 Club. Trudy and Vic were dedicated to St. Joan of Arc Parish and to helping those in need. Trudy started the Church Mouse thrift shop in the basement of St. Joan of Arc in 1985. The Church Mouse sold items donated by parishioners and raised money for the church. Trudy and Vic volunteered their time with St. Vincent de Paul where Trudy started the annual jewelry estate sale that generated much needed funds. This started Trudy's second-hand jewelry sales, through which she raised money for St. Vincent de Paul through the St. Joan of Arc French Market, rummage sales, and the In Vogue consignment shop. She also contributed her time to the Little Sisters of the Poor, an organization founded in France in 1839 by Saint Jeanne Jugan to take care of the elderly poor. Trudy joined in 1980, taking responsibility for newsletters and mailings for several years. Trudy was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 55 years, Victor Belinski. She is survived by her loving children, Claudia Belinski, Jennifer (Charles) Ney, Steven (Jenny) Belinski, Jeffrey Belinski and Victor (Lila) Belinski; seven grandchildren and sister, Jean Worden. Visitation for Trudy will be from 3 - 5 pm on Sunday, August 26th at Leppert Mortuary - Nora Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 am on Monday, August 27th at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Society of St. Vincent de Paul or to St. Augustine Home for the Aged.
