Linda Belloma, 45 of Centerville died Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. She was born May 23, 1959 at Centerville the daughter of Oliver (Pep) Russell and Betty (Lyons) Russell. Linda married Thomas Belloma on April 23, 1979 in Centerville. She was a 1977 graduate of Centerville High School, she attended Southwestern Community College and graduated from Indian Hills Community College with a Licensed Practical Nursing degree. For the past 20 years she had worked as a Pharmacy Tech and LPN at the VA hospital in Knoxville, Iowa. In high school she was All-State, All District, All conference Softball player, she also led the Redette basketball team in scoring where she was also the District Free-throw Champion. She coached Minor League Softball with Sheila Carson and was president of the Big Red Baseball Parents Assoc. for several years. She was extremely active and supportive of her children and the Centerville Sports Programs. husband Tom of Centerville, a son Nicholas (Nic) Belloma of Centerville, a daughter Rebecca (Becky) of Centerville, her mother Betty Russell of Centerville, a sister Reta Pope and her husband Don of Fairfield, a brother Bruce and his wife Deanna of Rathbun, Iowa , many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Saturday morning, July 17, 2004 at Thomas Lange Funeral Home with Pastor Lloyd Johnston officiating. Friends may call all day Friday with the family present from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Casket bearers will be Brandon Clark, Matt Kovacevich, Ben Lange, Matt McConville, Joe Hawkins, Brad & Hayden Frevert, Alex Belloma. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Centerville. A memorial has been established to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and may be left or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, PO Box 6, Centerville, Iowa 52544
