funny stories. He was the Dad who took his family and the neighbor kids swimming after he got home from work. Cub had a lifelong love of music and was an accomplished musician who played the clarinet, saxophone, piano and sang harmony beautifully. He loved listening to the Capitol City Band on summer evenings and went as often as he could over the past 50 years. Cub was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and June Bronsdon; his wives, Jean Bronsdon and Marvene Bronsdon; his brother Fred (Nancy) Bronsdon; his sister-in-law Lois Nelson, his brother-in-law Dennis Nelson and a nephew, Keith Nelson. Survivors include Ethel Skalet; his son, Jon (Cathy Whitehouse) Bronsdon; daughters Lynn (Rexford) Cattanach and Jennifer Bronsdon; grandchildren: Matt and Mike Bronsdon; Sara, Nathan and Seth Cattanach, Dustin (Kerisha) Bronsdon and Heidi (Travis) Legler and two great grandchildren: Maevely Wilde Bronsdon and Remy Bronsdon Legler. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Nancy Bronsdon, Barb Nelson, Sharon (Phil) Busch and Nelda Carpenter and nieces and nephews: Kurt Nelson, Dana Busch, Darin Busch, Dean Busch, Lisa Pertile, Stacy Cashman and Scott Carpenter. He is also survived by Phil Carey, a friend for over 82 years. Additionally, he was "Grampa Cub" to many, including: Tina, Amber, Christa, Trinidy, Jenna, Isis, Andrea, Jareaya, Janiyah and Jonyai. A memorial service celebrating Cub's life will be on Saturday, Sept. 1st, at 11 am, at First Baptist Church, 518 North Franklin Street, Madison.
