David Shaw

David W. Shaw, 60, passed away Wednesday evening, August 22, 2018, at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born on Sunday, April 20, 1958, in Grafton, West Virginia, the son of George and Alice (Shaffer) Shaw. David was a member of Union Local #669, working as a Journeyman drywall finisher and painter. He enjoyed spending time with his family, dancing, boating, camping, working on his trucks, and walking his dog, Bear. He is survived by his daughter, Chantle (husband David) Bruno; grandchildren, Briana Abram, Bryon Rhodes, Brookele Bruno and Brae' Bruno; great grandchild, Brynen Abram; sisters, Wanda Warner and Brenda Kidd; brothers, Greg (wife Carol) Shaw, Mike (wife Anna) Shaw, Donnie Shaw, and George Shaw; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Vickie Marlow and Jonnie Schubert (Anna Shaw's Mother); and special companions, Bear and Frasier. David is preceded in death by his parents; brothers-in-law, Cliff Kidd and Stanley Warner; and sister-in-law, Mamie Shaw.
