Marilyn J. Rupe Canton - Marilyn J. Rupe, 79, of Canton passed away at 3:25 pm, Saturday, September 1, 2018 at her residence. She was born on March 17, 1939 in Canton to Bramley "Boo" and Esther (Peterson) Whitehead. She married Ronald Rupe on April 19, 1957 in Canton. He survives along with four children; Deborah (Rory) Green of Goodyear, AZ, Mark (Beth) Rupe of Bloomington, David Rupe of Mesa, AZ, and Rebecca (Daniel) Marcotte of Bloomington, brother Jerry (Phyllis) Whitehead of Canton, twelve grandchildren; Sarah (Aaron) Todd, Benjamin Rupe, Brandon (Morgan) Green, Christopher (Beth) Green, Andrew Marcotte, Alexis Marcotte, Jordan Rupe, Paige Rupe, Amber Rupe and four great-granddaughters; Chloe and Emilia Todd, Riley Green, and Eve Green. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents. Marilyn was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Canton. She worked as a secretary for many years, last working at Lutheran Social Services and Catholic Social Services in Canton.
