07, as the diabetes progressed, she began dialysis treatments, and again, kept going with the horses. In 2009 she underwent a kidney and pancreas transplant at UW hospital, and a new life for her. She was no longer Diabetic and didn't need to go thru the treatments. In 2012 her body rejected the new organs and she was once again going through many treatments to fight the disease of Diabetes. She began attending MATC Truax in Madison, in the accounting program. She became very active in the student senate and worked in the cafeteria. She also attended American Inter Continental University. She earned a Bachelors degree in Business Management. Rose was very active other activities in life such as bowling, counted cross stitch, volunteering at the local food bank and being a part of many different organized groups thru out her life. Her father Joseph Purdum, her adopted father Richard Kluever, her two sons, Thomas and Michael, and her husband James Clearmont preceded her in death. She is survived by her mother Margaret Long, Brothers Joe Kluever, Fred Kluever, Ray Long, and sisters Kathy Beloungy (Russ) and Chris Jones (Scott), Nieces, Kari Heacox (Chad) Amanda Whitford, and Flutura Long as well nieces, nephews and many cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, Rose requests that donations be made in her honor to the American Horse Rescue or your local food pantry. She requested to be cremated and her ashes to be interred in the same cemetery as her husband in Union Grove. A memorial service will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 605 Madison Street, Marshall, WI on Friday, September 7th at 3pm. Friends and family may call from 1 pm until 3 pm.
