early loved his family and children. He enjoyed traveling, and vacationing to various destinations, and spending time with his grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He loved to go on picnics and to family gatherings. He loved animals and had several cherished pets, and donated to charitable organizations dedicated to preventing cruelty to animals. He enjoyed playing sports and coaching. He played basketball in high school and on the team of his Air Force Unit, and was known for the 'long shots,' the 3 pointers. William was caring, generous and funny. His warm, boyish smile and big heart will be missed by all who knew and loved him. William fell asleep in death on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at the age of seventy-three. He is preceded by his parents, and eldest brother George Wilbur (Alma). He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Theda, daughters Karma Harris (Jeff) and Leah Duling (Tom), sisters Norma (Ben) and Sheila (Darryl), brothers Tracy, Gregory, Keith (Stephanie), James "Jimmy" (Tiffani), and John Corey Talley, step-brothers Reginald and Kyle (Dorothy) Mason, two grandchildren Jaira and Kristopher Harris, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
