Hazel Belloma

Hazel Blanche Belloma, 82, passed away Friday, October 28, 2005, at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. Hazel was the daughter of Loy and Cecile Tipton of Moulton, Iowa and was born January 10, 1923. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister, Fern Morrison; and one grandson, Mathew Varese. In 1940, she married Bennie Belloma in Centerville. Hedberg of Centerville, Helen Harrington of Unionville, Iowa, Lola Hinerman of Warrensburg, Missouri, Garnett Landtiser of Bloomfield, Enid Moulton and her husband Max of Moulton, Patty Edwards and her husband Dave of Moulton; and 3 brothers, Loy Tipton Jr. and his wife Darlene of Moberly, Missouri, Rex Tipton of Moulton, and Max Tipton and his wife Kathy of Newton. Hazel was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother that put her family first. In earlier years, Hazel loved to bowl and then took up golf. She helped her husband Bennie with their store, Belloma Fruit Company. Mass of the Resurrection will be held Monday, 11:30 AM October 31, 2005 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Centerville with Fr. Ron Will officiating. Friends may call Sunday from noon until 8 Pm with the family present from 6-8 PM.. A scripture service will be held Sunday evening, 6:00 PM, at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Centerville. A memorial has been established to the Hazel Belloma Memorial Fund and may be left or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, 1900 South 18th St., Centerville, Iowa 52544.
