Meona Andrea Moore "MeMe" died peacefully on September 16, 2018 in Indianapolis, IN at the young age of 23. She was born February 7, 1995 in Indianapolis, IN to parents James and Roselyn Moore. She started learning Spanish in grade school at Forest Glen in their Immersion Program, She then graduated from Lawrence North with a dual degree in Spanish. Meona attended both Indiana State University and Anderson University. Due to her illness (Lupus) she wasn't able to sustain employment, but was often known to tutor students in both Spanish and English. Meona was a generous and caring individual who loved to sing and who was passionate about music, family, friends, and spreading knowledge about Lupus awareness. Meona would have enjoyed all this love and attention with her on center stage; all that's missing is Justin Bieber. Meona was strong, she was opinionated, she was beautiful, she was silly, and she was loved. Meona was fierce and didn't take no for an answer she gave her brother a black eye with his hockey puck, that she asked to borrow just so she could throw it at him. r friends wedding and bachelorette party while going in the hospital, frustrated she couldn't be more involved all the while suffering from a debilitated state in which she couldn't walk or talk. She was thoughtful deciding she didn't need any kids because she claimed all of her Nieces and Nephews Kilynn, Theophulus, Tristen, Callie, Hayden, and Brody as her own. They remember her as a kind & gentle Te-Te who encouraged them to pursue their goals, showed them how to pose for pictures, and would take them on dates; which were their favorite. Meona leaves to cherish her loving memory her parents James and Roselyn Moore, Brother Andrae Osburn (Alisha), Her Sisters Renee, Tunstill (Theophulus), Sheree Moore, grandfather Jimmie Ragsdale, and grandmother Deborah Murray and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family, and dear friends. Grandfather James E. Moore Sr., and Grandmother Clina McDonald preceded her in death. Services will be held at Crown Hill Funeral Home on Monday, September 24, 2018 visitation is from 10 a.m - 12 p.m with services immediately following.
