Patricia Clarke

Patricia R. Clarke 66, of Centerville died Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at her home. Patricia was born August 26, 1939 the daughter of Thomas and Alice(Peck) Riddick at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Centerville. She graduated from Mystic High School in 1957. Patricia worked for the Northwestern Bell Telephone Company in Des Moines and retired from there in 1986. She also worked in the county assistance office for the Appanoose County Department of Human Services. Patricia belonged to several organizations throughout the Appanoose County area, including the Hospital Auxiliary, Mystic Alumni Association, Highland Cemetery Association, Pancake Day Committee, the Ambassador's Club, and the Main Street Project on the Centerville Square. Patricia was also a former Centerville city council member. Patricia is survived by two brothers, Thomas (Donna) Riddick of Centerville, Iowa and John (Barb) Riddick of Mount Pleasant, Iowa; two sisters, Pam (Richard) Winegarden of Seymour, Indiana, and Theresa (Cecil) Samuel of Melrose, Iowa; six nephews and nieces, Thomas A. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and a niece, Jennifer Ann Robinson. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Saturday morning, February 11, 2006 at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Heien officiating. Friends may call Friday with the family present from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery, Mystic.
