Diana Maritza Rivera, born in Bronx, New York, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 47 years old. She was taken from her loved ones far too soon.
Diana was a fierce, affectionate, generous, self-sacrificing daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She only had two things in this world that she loved more than life itself; her family and friends. Diana was known to frequently dote on her family. Her youngest nephews, Ryker and Nelson, were her pride and joy. Diana enjoyed extensive travel, music festivals, and the theater. She found her professional calling in her work as a Senior Regulatory Affairs Analyst with the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami.
Diana was predeceased by her father, Luis Roberto Rivera. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: Migdalia Diaz Torres (mother), Rosa (Jose) Lozano-Cabreja (sister), Sergio Lozano (brother), Nelson (Sara) Rivera (brother), Jocelyn (Zachary) Donofrio (niece), Zachary Burton (nephew), Ryker Rivera (nephew), and Nelson Cabreja (nephew). She also leaves her extended family- The Robinson's, The Montgomery's, The Nelson's, and The Donofrio's.
