Inez Cavazos Ybarra, 86, a lifetime resident of Mercedes Texas went to be with our Lord on Monday, September 24, 2018. She was born March 4, 1932 to Francisco and Petra Sanchez Cavazos in Yorktown Texas. She is survived by her loving family: children: Rosemary Lara of Mission Texas, Margarita De Anda of Weslaco Texas, Rachel (Lupe) Lopez of San Antonio Texas, Carlos Ybarra Jr. of Mercedes Texas, Guadalupe(Olivia) Ybarra of Mercedes, Texas, Rafael Ybarra of Rafael Ybarra, Raul (Raul) Ybarra of Mercedes, Texas, Jose Luis Ybarra of Houston Texas, Francisco (Sonia) Ybarra of Mercedes Texas, Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez of McAllen Texas, numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, 1 brother: Rafael (Esperanza) Cavazos of Meza Texas, and many family members. Christian Church of Mercedes Texas. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 27, 2018 with Chapel of Peace to open to the public at 9:00a.m. for a 10:00a.m. chapel service. Interment will then follow at Mercedes Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Mercedes. Inez Cavazos Ybarra was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She will forever be remembered for the Love and caring she gave her family, her passion for her garden and family gatherings; especially on the holidays.
