Matthew Grady

Matthew Grady, 58, formerly of Fort Dodge passed away September 19, 2018 unexpectedly at Prairie View Care Facility in Fayette. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Burial with military rites will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be noon till 2:00 p.m. Thursday a the funeral home. Matthew is survived by his children, Kesheke and her husband, Walter Marsh of Beloit, WS; Matthew James Grady of Des Moines; seven grandchildren; siblings, Dorothy Grady; Pauline Grady; Jenny (Michael) Richardson; Ben Stallings all of Fort Dodge; Bernard; Albert (Michelle) Grady of Coutler; and Poochie Grady of St. Louis, MO. He was preceded in death by his parent, Berta Mae (Grady) Stallings; sister, Mary (Grady) Taylor; and brother, Johnnie Stallings. Matthew was born January 7, 1960 in Chicago, IL. He was raised in Fort Dodge. Matthew graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1974. He then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served until his honorable discharge.
