Angeline 'Angie' Haupert, 74, of Asbury passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 at home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the Church of the Resurrection, Entombment will be in Resurrection Garden Mausoleum, Mount Calvary Cemetery.. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, October 8th at Hoffmann Schneider and Kitchen Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3860 Asbury Road where there will be a wake service at 7 p.m..
Angie was born October 9, 1943 on the family farm near Colesburg, IA, daughter of Arnold and Marie (Lansing) Weber. She married Richard Haupert September 27, 1975 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Colesburg, Iowa.
She graduated as a LPN and worked at the former Xavier Hospital and retired from Holy Family Hall, both in Dubuque.
Angie was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, the Dubuque Fighting Saints and the Chicago Blackhawks. She enjoyed reading, visiting family in Colorado and spending time with her grandson and extended family and friends.
She was a member of Resurrection parish.

dren, Tony Haupert, of Chariton, Iowa, Anne Haupert, of Dubuque, and Mary Haupert, of Asbury; her grandson, Zachary Haupert-Kuempel; sisters Catherine Westhoff, Donna Kruse, Joan (Ray) Nurre, and Connie Weber; brothers, Jim (Mary) Weber, and John (Deb) Weber; sisters-in-law, Betty Weber and Linda (Ernie) Pfeiffer; brother-in-law, Roger (Sandy) Haupert; Aunt Rosie; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Joe Weber; a sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Charles Nurre; two brothers-in-law, Roland Westhoff and John 'Jake' Kruse; and three nephews, Jimmy Weber, Paul Nurre, and Patrick Weber.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Amy Ewen, the staff at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinic in Iowa City and Hospice of Dubuque, especially Courtney.
