Judith Arendt

Judith Arendt, age 68 of Centerville, Iowa passed away April 15, 2009 at her home. Judith was born July 17, 1940 the daughter of Pearl and Phyllis (Lemaster)Broshar in Centerville, Iowa. She graduated from Centerville High School and furthered her education at Broadlawns Nursing School. Judith worked as an RN at the Mahaska County Hospital after earning her degree, but gave up working full time to stay at home and raise a family. She continued using her nursing skills throughout the years, though, by volunteering her time as a School and Community Nurse. Judith had a passion for music and shared her gifts for music by playing the piano for worship and other services at the Gibson United Presbyterian Church in Gibson, IA for more than 30 years. She loved spending time with her family and was a dedicated daughter, spending many hours caring for her parents in their later years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Centerville,Iowa. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM, Monday April 20, 2009 at the First Methodist Church with Pastor Tara Amundsen officiating.
