Prospero Serjio Barradas, Jr., 82, of Tamarac, FL passed away on October 19, 2018. Sonny, as he was known, was born June 23, 1936 in China to Prospero and Amy Barradas. He was a banker by trade and later enjoyed a career as a chauffeur. The Barradas family owned a neighborhood restaurant, Villa Grande Pizza. During Sonny's years there he was loved by the neighborhood children and cared for them as though they were family. An extremely creative man, Sonny was very artistic and loved to draw and do calligraphy. He was mild mannered with a dapper sense of style, and adored his family. He was an avid sports fan, but his favorites were the NY Rangers and the NY Giants.
Survived by his wife of 58 years, Ann; children, Christine (Antonio) Gonzalez, Paul (Debra) Barradas and Michele Barradas; and grandchildren, Christopher, Patrick, and Gina Gallo and Heather, Roseann, and Robert Barradas. Also left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Roseann (Joseph) Bongiovanni, Frank (Jeanette) Lanuto, Vincent Lanuto, and Christina Lanuto; and his Godson, Gaspar Bongiovanni.
