Louis C. "Bud" Kelley Jr., age 87, passed away October 30, 2018, at his home after an extended hospital stay. Bud was born June 2, 1931, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Bud was the eldest son of the late Louis C. "Lou" Kelley Sr. and Sarah "Alberta" Kelley. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1949 and attended Omaha University. He was a US Army veteran. Bud began his working career with the City Ice Company, supplying ice to railroad cars. In 1953, he went to work as a Ramp Serviceman for United Air Lines, which turned into a 37½ year career. Bud was a lifelong member and Elder at Bethany Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, and gardening. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Patrick John and Robert Michael. Bud is survived by his son, Dan and wife, Deb; granddaughters, Ashley (Matt) True, Shelby (Danny) Cahalan and Paige Kelley; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Kelley, niece and nephews, and grandpup "Toby".
