Mr. William Ray Holtrop, age 66, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018. He was born in Muskegon, MI on March 24, 1952 to John & Ethel (Williams) Holtrop. Mr. Holtrop had been employed as a Corrections Officer for 25 years until retiring in 2003. William was a life long member of Samuel Lutheran Church. He was heavily invested into the research & history of World War II, liked to travel to places such as Europe and all around the United States, of which Cedar Key, Florida became his favorite.
SURVIVORS
Mother, Ethel Holtrop; sister, Susan (Daniel) Lake of Frankfort, MI; nephew, Randy Lake. He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Adam Lake.
SERVICE
Monday, November 5, 2018, 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Chris Anderson officiating. Internment in Oakwood Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Harbor Hospice Poppen House or Samuel Lutheran Church.
