aveling through Iowa on day trips. Bud and Ann moved to Raymond in 1993 in order to be closer to their two daughters and their families in Waterloo. Ann was then blessed with a granddaughter, Hanna, in 1996, and filled her days with dolls and singing and Winnie the Pooh. She would do whatever she could for both of her grandchildren and loved them both dearly. Ann always felt lucky to have several furry grandchildren, too! Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Irey (Bud); her parents Arbie and Inez; sisters, Jean Schultz and Zeta Heckman; and brothers Bob, John, Neal, Gary, and Allan. Ann is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Duane) Lichty and Debra (Michael) Grimson both of Waterloo; grandchildren, Joshua (Jennifer) Kannegieter of Monticello, MN and Hanna Grimson of Monticello, MN, great-grandchildren, Peter and Samuel Kannegieter; sisters: Vicky Ney of West Union and Twila Haviland of Des Moines; brothers, Donald (Regina) Heckman of Georgetown, TX, Leslie (Sherrill) Heckman of Mountain Home, AR, and Stanley Heckman of Wellington, CO; six sisters-in law, Donna Heckman of Miles, Karen Heckman of Oelwein, Betty Rose of Decorah, Betty Lou Rose and Vidys Rose of West Union, and Sharlene Rose of Ossian; and many nieces and nephews. Ann's family would like to thank Cedar Valley Hospice for their outstanding service during her passage from life to death. We would also like to thank the caring staff on the second floor of Deery Suites, Western Home Communities, in Cedar Falls, for their ongoing care and professionalism shown during her stay.
