Missionary Society for the State of Wisconsin, President of the Benevolent Fund Ministry, member of the Church Board of Trustees, head of the Church Youth Ministry for over 20 years, President of Women Mission, Chair Person for the Pulpit Search Committee, members of the Senior Choir, Active member of the Women Auxiliary for the General Baptist State Convention of Wisconsin. Attended many National Baptist Conventions to represent Second Baptist Church and was inspirational in helping to manage the construction of the church new addition. Mother Jordan was also was a Breast Cancer survivor and member of the Witness Project Hope to Stop Breast Cancer.
She leaves to cherish her memories her siblings; two brothers Horace(Peggy) Anderson, Francis (Linda) Brown; one sister, Missouri (Dee) Anderson; her children, Miranda, Linda, Craig, Tim (Cheri); four grand-children, Whitney, Mason, Arianna and Evan; her uncle, Lawrence Anderson; her aunt, Marjorie Randle; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Mother Jordan believed in keeping the family together no matter what obstacles. She cherished her children, grandchildren and family and had a loving bond and loyalty for her friends. Mother Jordan cared deeply for Second Baptist Church where she had a special Bond for Pastor Wade and his wife Lucretia. She was instrumental in advocating for Pastor Wade to be the next new pastor for Second Baptist Church; Where She helped to encourage and guide him to put their trust in the Holy Spirt for the sake of the church.
