when he received the Outstanding Young Farmer Award in 1970. He was a Pioneer Sales Rep for 9 years. He raised and sold sweet corn for over 17 years.
Doug enjoyed the outdoors. He loved boating, snowmobiling, camping and traveling. He looked forward to trips across the country in his motorhome as well as camping with his grandchildren.
Doug's most treasured legacy was the importance of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. At his 80th birthday celebration, he passed on the baton of faith to his family encouraging them to continue to pass this along to their children, grandchildren and others. Even in his final days, he continued to share the hope found in Jesus. So to all who knew him and share in the faith of Jesus, He'll see you later.
He is survived by his wife Gloria Lenhart of Zwingle; children, Cindy (Mike) Moss of Marian, IA, Sandy Aidukas of Orlando, FL, Julie Horak of Hudson, FL, Joni (Thomas) Regan of Orlando, FL, Daryl (Lori) Clapham of Plover, Wisconsin and Tammy (Brent) Bullock of Eldridge, IA; grandchildren, Ben and Katie Moss, Adam Aidukas, Jonathan, Faith, Grace and Joy Clapham, Brittany, Brenna, Luke and Brooklyn Bullock; and a sister, Judy Marcus of St Paul, MN.
