Cynthia Knisley, 70, of Keokuk died Tuesday afternoon, November 20, 2018 at her home surrounded by her friends and family.
Cynthia Colleen Knisley was born March 31, 1948 to Oney & Mary Atterberg Mahoney in Keokuk, IA. She was united in marriage to Allan Knisley on June 24, 1967 in Sandusky, IA, at the Methodist Church, he survives.
Cynthia attended the United Methodist Church in Sandusky in the past, she was an avid reader, became a caregiver to many family members, babysat grandchildren, but most important to her was spending time with her family.
Cynthia is survived by two children, Phil (Darcie) Knisley and Gina (Sean) McGinnis; 5 grandchildren, Courtney (Jesse) Moore, Megan (Glen) White, Connor McGinnis, Stefan (Anna) Knisley, and Abby Knisley; 1 great grandchild, August Knisley; 3 sisters, Carolyn (Mike) Knezevich, Oneda (Ralph) Roberts, Peggy (Bob) Sutton, Mike (Kathy)_Mahoney, and Pat (Pam) Mahoney; Terry (Chris) Welker; and many nieces and nephews.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Mary Ellen.
A Celebration of Cynthia's life will be held at a later date.
