es. Gary sold the Farm Supply in 1996 and enjoyed a working retirement after that. Gary's daily retirement routine included two or three "coffee trips" to Alta Vista to discuss how to solve the local and national issues. Included in these discussions were good natured ribbing and friendships that lasted a lifetime. Gary lived his life as a hard-working honest individual that was always ready to help anyone in need. In his free time Gary enjoyed fishing in Minnesota and Canada and spending time with family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory include children, Tami (Larry) Bernstein of Tempe, AZ; Kevin Tolliver of New Hampton and Galen (Therese) Tolliver of Des Moines; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Norman (Gloria) Tolliver and two sisters, Sandra Burns and Marvlyn Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Tolliver; parents, Earl and Blanche Tolliver and brother Stanley Tolliver.
