He truly never met a stranger and would speak with anyone and everyone he encountered. He loved spending time with all his grandchildren and great grandchildren who he would do anything for. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survived by: 2 sons, Lloyd Jr. (Kimberly) Tims of Waterloo, IA and Ricardo Tims of St. Paul, MN; 2 daughters, Marian Allen and Brenda Tims, both of Waterloo, IA; 9 grandchildren: Victor (Gina) Allen of Davenport, IA, Denise Allen of Waterloo, IA, Ricardo Tims Jr., Shaunteè (Charles) Harvey of Minneapolis, MN, Christopher (Katie) Tims, Charles Tims of Waterloo, IA, Imanuel Tims, Hope Tims and Isaiah Tims of Minneapolis, MN; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by: wife, Ora L. Tims; a daughter, Genola Tims Miller; a grandson, Andre D. Tims; a great-grandson, Victor Michael Allen; 7 brothers: Jesse, Lovell, Cleo, Ollie and Robert Tims and Willie and MaeWeather Holmes; and 2 infant sisters.
