Julie Thompson, age 55, of Algona passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona. Visitation will be 4 - 7 PM Tuesday at the Lentz Funeral Home Algona. Burial will be held at Riverview Cemetery in Algona at a later date.

Julie Ann Thompson, the daughter of William Rowland and Mary Ann (Davis) Thompson, was born on June 13, 1963 in Algona, Iowa. She had worked as a nurses aide at the Algona Manor. Julie enjoyed playing cards, planting flowers, helping others and working at the Algona Manor Care Center. She cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.
