David L. Grimm age 47 of Maquoketa Iowa died suddenly on Saturday morning January 212006.0 at the Jackson County Public Hospital in Maquoketa Iowa.



A celebration of his life will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday January 242006.0 from the Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa Iowa with Chaplain/Celebrant Rev. Ruth Ann Scott of Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 P.M. on Monday January 232006.0 at the Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa Iowa. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery Maquoketa Iowa.



David L. Grimm was born on March 211958.0 in Morrison Illinois to Leo E. Grimm Sr. and Marcella (Tracy) Grimm. He was a 1976 graduate of Maquoketa Community High School. He then attended Welding School in Carroll Iowa. He married Suzette Biggs on February 11 1994 in Maquoketa Iowa.



David was self-employed and owned and operated Dave's Lawn Care in Maquoketa for the past 15 years.

David is survived by: his wife- Suzette Grimm of Maquoketa IA; his mother and step-father- Marcella and Birgil Chase of Maquoketa IA; step-children- Candyce Ambrose of Rushville IL & Rodney Walker of Rushville IL; 3 step-grandsons; 2 brothers- Leo(Mary) Grimm of Maquoketa IA & Melburn(Marla) Grimm of Moline IL; & 2 sisters- Nancy(Mrs. Jim) Salmon of Kansas City MO & Sheila Grimm of Monmouth IA. He was preceded in death by his father on March 24 1985.
