Carol M. Haupt 75 of Englewood, Florida passed away December 15, 2018. She was born May 9, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to Earl and Helen (Segger) Haupt. She worked for the State of Michigan for 31 years and was an Attorney, retiring in 1997 and then moving to Florida in 2002. Precocious as a child. Smart (Valedictorian). Beautiful (homecoming Queen). Carol was fun loving, and a great leader. She loved her dog Charlie Anna. She loved Florida, golfing, boating, playing cards, reading and writing. Her favorite saying was "It is what it is." Her stated goal in life was, " I just want to help people." Carol loved her Lord Jesus Christ and served His Church in many capacities: Stephen Ministry, Human Care, Evangelism, Choir, Alter Guild, Church Council thru many years. She was a member of Lakeside Lutheran Church (LCMS) of Venice, former member of Trinity Lutheran Church of S.W. Florida of Port Charlotte. She is survived by her sister, Susan Haupt; her sister-in-law Carol Ann Haupt; aunt to many nieces and nephews; she was predeceased by her parents and her brother John Haupt.
