he loved the annual Fall Festival and his "Arise" bible study group. To Paul, time outdoors was time well spent. Passing on his love of hunting, fishing, and exploring to his children and grandchildren was very important to him. His love of geography led him to travel to almost every continent. Whether fishing in the Amazon or the Concho River, he lived to spend time with his family and lifelong friends. Everyone knew Paul for his love of garage sales and a good bargain- which allowed him to be the constant go-to for all things. He was always there as a resource and knew how to solve a problem, leaving things better and sturdier than he found them. Paul looked forward to his weekly lunches with Robert Coffey, Bill Coffey, and Bill Jenkins; and never missed his monthly Lakeview Class of '65 luncheon. Paul's display of generosity often went unknown by anyone other than the recipient. He was a rock to his family and a pillar in his community. His quiet, yet strong presence made an incredible impact. Papa will so dearly be missed. Paul is preceded in death by his mother Beth and father James C. Martin, Jr., and his sister Nancy Martin Aars. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marilyn (Bambi) Martin; his brother J. Thomas Martin and wife Janet of Houston, his brother Clay M.
