Rena Marie Koepke (Chase), 48, of Ponca, NE passed away on Tuesday, January 8th, 2019 in Hartington, NE. Private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Mohr Funeral Home in Ponca, NE. Rena was born on July 1st, 1970 in Norwalk, CA, the daughter of Richard and Rita Chase (Debaca). She graduated from Ponca High School. After high school Rena joined the work force and became very successful in sales. As a child Rena enjoyed horseback riding, baseball, and spending time at the beach. Rena was a very passionate woman which led her to becoming a foster parent and taking in numerous children in need. One of Rena's greatest passions in life was being a mother and grandmother. Spending time with her family was one of her favorite things to do. Being able to live with her son Bubba made life a little extra special for her. She had a big heart and a beautiful contagious laugh. Rena was always willing to help people in need at the drop of a hat no matter where she was at in her own life.
