Tara Marie Peterson, 33, of Appleton, WI a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, mother, niece, cousin and friend died suddenly, Tuesday, January 15th in Appleton. Tara was born, November 25, 1985 in Rochester, MN to Nadine (Ehlenfeldt) Braatz and Darin Peterson. Growing up, Tara was the middle child with two brothers. She was a tough tomboy who also had a sensitive and very artistic side. Tara loved drawing and poetry. She enjoyed dancing, singing, and listening to music. Tara was a lover of nature's beauty, she could spend hours starring at the stars dreaming. She was a loving and compassionate person who loved being silly and vivacious. Tara had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul. As a child she grew up in Lanesboro, MN, Seattle, WA and Portage, WI. She graduated from Portage High School and later earned her degree as a certified massage therapist. She was a jack of all trades and held many different positions in her working career. Most of all she loved and adored her two children, Nevaeh and Domynick. l miss Tara are her children, Nevaeh and Domynick Ostenson; mother, Nadine Braatz; brothers, Jason Ehlenfeldt, Nick Peterson; grandparents, Shirley Ehlenfeldt, Janet Peterson; nieces and nephews, Alex, Alana, Aiden Ehlenfeldt, Branton Peterson; aunts and uncles, Kelly (Jeff) Frauenkron, Kristine Ehlenfeldt, Kari (Eric) Kellogg, Eric (Michelle) Ehlenfeldt, Darcy (Paul) Peterson, Duane Peterson; numerous cousins. Loved ones that cleared the path for Tara are her father, Darin Peterson, grandparents, Noel Ehlenfeldt, Stan Peterson, Robert Knutson. We will always remember her infectious smile, piercing blue eyes and caring personality. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
