er life, sharing how-to's with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She took classes to learn the art of cake decorating and provided beautifully decorated cakes for many an occasion. She also became renowned for baking as many as 40 different varieties of cookies, decorated elaboratelyfor Christmas platters, and passed this cookie baking tradition on to her daughters and granddaughter. Anne was a skillful seamstress, plying her Singer to make her daughters' clothing, dance costumes, and matching outfits for their dolls. Later, she turned her sewing talents toward creating Raggedy Ann dolls, Winnie-the Pooh and other storybook characters, and teddy bears, as well as embroidery and crewel needlework. She took art classes, learning to paint with acrylics and oils. In recent years, she became an avid reader, and always looked forward to tackling a daily crossword puzzle. Anne is survived by her daughter Patricia Buhl; son-in-law Robert Trickett; grandchildren Julian Pawlowski (Dawn), Scott Pawlowski (Kay), Sebastian Trickett, and Nicole Trickett Schwarz (Teddy Schwarz); great grandchildren Alex, Katherine, Kara, Will, Elizabeth, Ryan, Daniel, Sarah, and Matthew. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Philip Buhl; three brothers, four sisters, and their spouses; and daughter, Cheryl Buhl (Robert Trickett). Visitation will be held Monday, February 4, 2019 from 12:00 until the time of service at Crown Hill, Gothic Chapel. Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Anne will be laid to rest next to Philip at Crown Hill Cemetery.
