Joshua Todd Peterson

Joshua Todd Peterson age 31, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 in an auto accident in Urbandale, Iowa. A celebration of Joshua's life will be 4:00-6:00p.m. on Monday February 4, 2019 at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care, 414 Lincoln Way, Ames, Iowa.
Josh was born June 20, 1987 in Omaha, Nebraska the son of Patti Thorson and Todd Peterson. He grew up in Story City, and was a 2005 graduate of Ames High. Josh was currently working as a culinary server at Table 128 but had worked at other notable restaurants in the Des Moines area. Patrons that Josh served raved about the high level of service that he provided, and about his in-depth knowledge of cuisine and wines. He was currently taking courses to become a master sommelier. He enjoyed spending time with his many friends and family, especially on the river canoeing. Josh had a big, caring personality and was unapologetically himself.
