Leah Hilda Peachey
Leah Hilda Peachey, 72, passed away peacefully at home with her family in Sarasota, Florida, on January 30, 2019. She was born on September 11, 1946, in Belleville, Pennsylvania, to Leroy S and Amelia M (Peachey) Yoder. On April 18, 1968 she married Thomas J Peachey. They lived in matrimony for over 50 years. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior in her youth and remained faithful to the end. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Louie Yoder and David Yoder, and one grandson, Adrian Peachey. At Tourist Mennonite Church, 3340 Bahia Vista Street, Sarasota FL, visitation is planned for Thursday February 1, at 3-6pm followed by a funeral service. At Union Grove Amish Church, 5669 Windsor Rd, Union Grove NC 28689, visitation is planned for Saturday, February 2, at 2-4pm and 6-8pm with funeral services Sunday, February 3 at 9:30am. The family wishes to express their thanks to the community for their outpouring of love and support; caregiving, food, prayers and visits. A special thanks to Lydia Bontrager, who faithfully and lovingly cared for Leah the past three years.
