(Miles) Erickson of rural Burlington; son, Mick (Teresa) Friedel of Mediapolis; grandsons, Justin and Matt Friedel of Mediapolis, Cole and Luke Erickson of rural Burlington; father-in-law, Floyd "Tode" John of Burlington; brother, Les Friedel of Burlington; significant other, Shirley Fountain of Sumner, MO; sister-in-law, Linda Friedel Muir of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; one brother, Kenny Friedel; mother-in-law, Dorothy John; three sisters-in-law, Rita Friedel, Shirley Friedel, and Carol Ann John; and three brothers-in-law, Richard Davis, Gary Davis, and Daryl John. The funeral service for Mr. Friedel will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2019 at Lunning Chapel. The Very Rev. Father Marty Goetz will officiate. The Burlington Area Veterans Honor Guard will conduct military rites. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7:00 p.m. Sunday, February 10th at Lunning Chapel. A memorial has been established for Great River Hospice House.
