Alexander Paul Richter

Alexander Paul "Alex"Richter, age 54, of Dresher PA died Monday, February 4, 2019, at Abington Hospital. Alex was born in Cavite City, Philippines at Sangley Point Naval Station. He is the beloved son of Geri (nee Pawlowski) Richter and the late Robert "Butch" Richter, Jr. He was a member of the Upper Dublin High School Class of 1982. Alex was an avid Philadelphia Flyers and Eagles Fan. He was thrilled to see the Eagles finally win a Super Bowl, but his greatest passion was music and more recently his love for Jesus. Alex loved a variety of music. He was founder and CEO of Hard N' Fast, a rock n' roll newsletter. He loved going to concerts and interviewing musicians and bands. He had many stories he loved to share with his friends and fans. In the late 80's Alex used his writing skills to become a Rock Journalist and launched the publication, "Hard N' Fast."He conducted numerous interviews with rock performers and record industry figures and became friends with many. d a lot of people in his lifetime. He was kind and had a generous heart. He left this world a much better place than he found it and would ask people to do the same. His favorite quote was, "Pay it forward." He lived by those words as an Organ Donor. In addition to his mother, Alex is survived by his brother Robert A. Richter, III and his beloved dog Riley. Relatives and friends are invited to Alex's Life Celebration Memorial Service on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 4:00 PM at the New Life Presbyterian Church, 2015 Limekiln Pike, Dresher, PA 19025.
