JAMES PAUL MUSCATINE, Iowa - James L. Paul, 76, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Eddie Cabrera will officiate. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery. A time of food and fellowship will held at the Seventh-day Adventist Church following the committal service. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Darlene Paul. James was born on February 3, 1943, in Corpus Christi, Texas, the son of Glenn and Shirley Thompson Paul. He married Darlene Holladay on June 16, 1984, in Muscatine. He was a veteran of the US Army. He worked as Produce Manager at Sun Mart retiring in 2007. He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Moose Lodge No. 388.
