Josephine White

Josephine White was born May 30, 1932 in Florence, Alabama to Henry and Lizzie McDaniel. She attended Mount Zion Baptist Church faithfully every Sunday, where she then made the choice to dedicate her life to Christ. She attended Burrell Slater High School, where she graduated and obtained her High School Diploma. She later moved to Chicago, Illinois where she attended college and became a Certified Nursing Assistant. She then moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where she obtained a job at Methodist Hospital, and worked for many years until retirement. She then went on to do private duty home care for 27 years with the Troyer family. Josephine departed this earth on February 15, 2019 in Indianapolis, In. Josephine is survived by: Her son, Larry White; two sisters, Madgie Caudle, and Ruth McDaniel; two grandchildren, Tamieka White and Mauricus White Sr (Danielle White); six great-grandchildren, Tristan, Mauricus Jr., Jaiden, Nadia, Daniel, and Harper; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
