Rodney John Sparks

Rodney John Sparks - age 72, of Fenton, Michigan died February 24, 2019. Funeral services will be in Flint, Michigan. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family or a charity of one's choice. Rodney was born November 6, 1946 in Flint, the son of Otis Victor and Helen June (Sweet) Sparks. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and married Anita Marchese on August 23, 1974. Rodney was self-employed in fiberglass repair for 40 years. He was a true family man that enjoyed golfing, camping, fishing, hunting, boating and spending time on the water. Rodney loved his Florida Frogger family. Surviving are: wife, Anita of Fenton; two daughters, Lisa Sparks Kraut of Fenton, Carrie (Corey) Rennie of Columbus, OH; two grandchildren, Taylor Kraut (Matt) and Morgan Kraut (Kaleb); two great-grandchildren, Payton and Olivia Dilts; two sisters, Judy Williams of Fenton and Karen (Jim) Hagan of Holly; several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents; and son, Randall Sparks on July 5, 2006.[more]
