ilure in 1995. He was on dialysis for one and one-half years. Each one of his children was willing and was tested to see if they were a match. The eldest daughter, Linda, donated a kidney. It has been ten and one-half years since the operation. It was in January of this year that he had two stents put in his heart and he started failing shortly after this. He declined in health and went on to be with his Lord on Wednesday, March 5, 2008. It was during his life in Odessa, MN that he called upon Jesus at a revival meeting to forgive him of his sins and asked Jesus to enter his life as personal Savior. He became more serious about his Christian life as he grew older. Some of his activities of service were: Sunday School Teacher, Youth Group Leader, Sunday School Superintendent, Deacon, Song Leader and Soloist. He was co-founder of the Community Bible Church in Windom. He loved music. He was the son of a preacher, so he learned many old hymns by heart. He had many songs that he would be singing - one of which was "Just a Closer Walk with Thee" as he worked or played. He requested that there be lots or music at this funeral. Aaron was passionate about encouraging people and making them feel special. He had a unique ability to relate to all ages - young and old. Aaron was man of character. He had values and convictions and he passed them on. Aaron's family includes his wife, Muriel; three children, Linda Bussa and her husband, Mark of Colorado Springs, Co; Joel Link of Willmar, MN; Lori Schnasa and her husband, James of Fountain Hills, AZ; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Audria Engen of Lamberton, MN. Aaron is preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, Darol Link, one sister, Irene Anderson.
