Avis M. Annen

Dane-Avis M. Annen, 92, passed away on Tues Feb 22, 2011 at her son's home in Mazomanie. Avis was born on July 7, 1918 in Lodi to Herbert and Mary (Beaver) Farris. She married Edward Annen and he preceded her in death in 2000. She was employed by the State of Wisconsin, Dept. of Revenue until her retirement in 1983. Avis enjoyed gardening, watching and feeding the birds, especially her cockatiel "Sonny" whom she taught to sing and talk and being with her grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of St Martin's Catholic Church in Martinsville. Survivors include; two sons, Mark (Karen Hall) of Mazomanie and Gary (Emiy) of Barneveld.   Grand-children Allison Gasser, Nicole Heimbecker, Robyn Reeson, Kurt Annen, Todd Farrington, Justine Farrington, Jill Farrington, Jodi Farrington and numerous great-grandchildren.   Her sisters Toddy Brereton and Karen Faye Blum.   She was preceded in death by a daughter Ronnagale Gudreau, granddaughter Jackie Farrington, great-granddaughter Rylee Gasser and a daughter-in-law Debbie Annen.   Funeral services will be held on Sat.
