Harold R. "Grampy" Lambrecht, age 87, of Council Bluffs, passed away March 5, 2019 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital. Harold was born December 9, 1931 in Winside, Nebraska to the late William and Anna (Suhr) Lambrecht. He graduated from Omaha South High School in 1948. Harold worked at Tip Top Mfg. in Omaha where he met his future wife-Joan Warden. They married May 15, 1954 in Council Bluffs. Harold proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Motor Pool during the Korean War. He worked at O.P.P.D. for 36 years as a line crew foreman. Harold and Joan enjoyed traveling all around the U.S. He will be sadly missed and was our hero. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Joan; brother, Ray and sisters, Mary Andersen and Gloria Pierce. Harold is survived by his sons, Brent (Brenda), Kip (Pam); daughter, Jane (Rick) Denton; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Clara Houston; nieces and nephews.
