Joel W. Barfoot

Joel W. Barfoot, age 27, died Thursday, January 27, 2011 at home. He was born August 9, 1983, in Madison, the son of Colin and Catherine (Goebel) Barfoot. In his spare time, Joel showed his talents as an excellent amateur photographer, was known as a computer whiz, enjoyed music, and loved exploring nature.   Survivors include his parents, Catherine and Colin, and a brother, Kevin, all of Madison; his maternal grandparents Delbert and Mary Goebel of Racine; his paternal grandmother Janice Barfoot of Opp, AL; and numerous other relatives and friends. Joel was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Clarence Barfoot.   Private family services will be held on a later date.
