Karen E. McClelland
Karen E. McClelland, age 64, of 2334 E. 1300th St., Mendon, died Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 11:00 pm in Blessing Hospital. Karen was born May 28, 1947 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Chris Howard and Jeanette Lorraine Syvertsen Larsen. She married Ronald K. McClelland on January 28, 1967 in Gurnee, Illinois and again on June 25, 1975 in Ft. Myers, Florida. He survives. Karen was a graduate of Maine Township High School West in Des Plaines, Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois and graduated from Western Illinois University. Karen taught at Community Unit 4 as a 5th Grade teacher at Mendon and Greenfield Elementary Schools. Karen was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church and the Quincy Symphony Chorus. She volunteered with Sing Alongs at North Adams Home in Mendon.
