Matthew (Sarah) Tegeler, USAF of Laughlin AFB, TX, Melissa Tegeler of Nashville, TN, three great-grandchildren, Zachary, Cole and Bennett Schullian of Cary, IL; two sisters, Mildred Tegeler Conzett of Dubuque, Iowa, and Ethel Tegeler McCreedy of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; two brothers, Ralph Tegeler of Lacrosse, WI, and Leo Tegeler of Dubuque, Iowa. Joe was also preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters, Marie Tegeler, Clara Tegeler Wall, and Catherine Tegeler. Services: 8:30 am Prayers at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am Saturday, July 30, 2011 in the Church of St. Peter, with Monsignor Leo Enlow officiating. Burial: Calvary Cemetery with full military rites by American Legion Post #37 and Illinois Military Funeral Honors.
