Robert L. Kelley, 70, 1026 No. 24th, Quincy, died Monday, June 26, 2000 at 2:50 pm in the Prairie Rose Health Care Center in Pana, IL. He was born June 18, 1930 in Adams County, Illinois, the son of Lloyd and Ida Lydia Schnelle Kelley. He married Edna Pearl Kindhart August 18, 1960 in Quincy. He was employed by the city of Quincy as a tree cutter and previously worked for the YMCA. He was a member of Luther Memorial Church. Survivors include 4 children, Marty Jackson and his wife Kelly, Quincy; Susan Ames, Quincy; Rodney Kelley and his wife Traci, Quincy; Robin Kelley, Quincy; 13 grandchildren, Shannon, Bobbi Sue and Nikki Jackson, Quincy; Jason Owen, Bryan and Lauren Ames, Quincy; Jamie, Ashley and Justin Kelley, Quincy; Joshua Kelley, Springfield, IL; RanDale Starman, Ryanna Kelley, and Nancy Friday, all of Quincy; 4 brothers, Marvin Kelley, Quincy; Lloyd Kelley and his wife Geneva, Mesa, Arizona; John Kelley and his wife Shirley, Tennessee; Richard Kelley and his wife Jackie, Quincy; 2 sisters, Marilyn Kelley, Augusta, IL; Phyllis Jackson and her husband David, Overland Park, KS; several nieces and nephews. LeLand Uden officiating. Burial in Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, Illinois. The family will receive friends from 4-7 pm Thursday at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Robert Kelley Memorial Fund.
