Neva M Benson

STOUGHTON- Neva M. Benson, age 94, died on Thursday, January 22, 2009 in Mobile, Alabama. She was born on April 15, 1914 in Polo, Illinois a daughter of the late Hal & Alice (Hodge) Nichols. Neva had been a long time resident of Dixon, Illinois and later of Stoughton, Wisconsin. She married Harlan Benson on October 2, 1935 in Glasford, Illinois. Harland preceded her in death on November 15, 1995. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Stoughton. Neva is survived by: a son, Philip (Ann) Benson, Mobile, Alabama; 2 daughters, Sylvia (John) Jackson, Catlettsburg, Kentucky; Adrienne (David) Keeley, Dixon, Illinois; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and a sister, Marion Henderson, Polo, Illinois. In addition to her parents and husband, Neva was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Noakes. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 11:00 am at First Lutheran Church, 310 E. Washington St, Stoughton with the Reverend Bill Lehman officiating.
