Dorothy M. Dever

Dorothy M. Dever, 68, 1233 Spring Lake Corner, Quincy, died Thursday, December 21, 2000 at 5:35 pm in her home. She was born July 6, 1932 in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of Robert Reddick and Gladys Castle Reddick. On Aug. 26, 1950, she married Harold Dever in Winchester, Illinois. He survives. Mrs. Dever was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, baking, and working in her garden. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors in addition to her husband are a 6 children, Victoria Lynn Munoz, Biloxi, MS; , Sharon Ann Hudnut, Summerville, SC; Dorothy Darlene Sample, Quincy; Harold H. 'Rusty' Dever, II, Quincy; Catherine Kay Shelts, Quincy; Forrest Lee 'Ben' Dever, Payson, IL; 14 grandchildren, 3 greatgrandsons, and a sister, Gladys Ziegler, Goose Creek, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Jared Hudnut, a granddaughter, Nicole Munoz, and a brother, Robert Reddick. Funeral Services will be 11 am Saturday, December 23, at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, Rev. V. Lee Amsler officiating. Burial in Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, Illinois.
