Nora A. CaPaul

Waunakee -- Nora A. Nelson CaPaul, resident of Waunakee WI passed away Sunday, May 10, 2009. Nora was born July 13, 1913 in Westby, Wisconsin, Vernon County. She married Joseph CaPaul in Madison, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, her parents Christine and Gustave Nelson; five brothers, Nordahl, Edgar, Elmer, Chester and Tillford, and four sisters, Selma, Mabel, Myrtle and Garda. She is survived by two sons, Joseph and James, and their wives Harriet and Nancy, as well as one daughter, Susan CaPaul Porter and her husband Hugh. Nora is also survived by five grandsons, Joe, Dan, Erik, Jim and Jeff, and three granddaughters, Christy, Kathy and Kim. She is further survived by seven great-grandsons, Tim, Kyle, Serge, Mikhail, Nolan, Nathan and William and four great-granddaughters, Rachel, Jessica, Julia and Kelsey, as well as several nephews and nieces. Nora was twice past-president of the St. Mary of the Lake Altar Society and opened the school's lunch program in 1957, serving in the program until the school closed.
